If you need to maximise your time in Cusco and want to take in some of the city sites as well as the Sacred Valley sites, then this tour is ideal for you! We combine the best of both locations in a full days tour starting in Cusco. We can end the tour in the Sacred Valley if necessary.
We start out by visiting the archeological site of Sacsayhuaman, followed by a visit to Qenqo “The Maze”. From here we make our way to Awanacancha Cultural Village where you have a chance to interact with a variety of camelids (llamas, alpacas, vicuñas). Here we will also see ladies making fine alpaca weavings.
Next we move on to Pisac where you will visit the ruins for around an hour – on a good day you will have spectacular views over the valley. Please note that we do not include Pisac market in this tour. There is simply not enough time to do market shopping. If you want the market then we need to eliminate out Awanacancha.
We continue onwards to Urubamba where we take lunch in a touristic restaurant. Our next stop is the ruins in the beautiful village of Ollantaytambo. We end off with a visit to Chincheros where we enter the ornate colonial church with its impressive murals. We return to Cusco arriving early evening.
US$ 250 in total for 2-6 persons (7+ persons – please enquire)
