Day 1
Pick Up Time from hotel in Lima: 8am
You're up from your hotel in Lima and travel by private car to the city of Ica, located to the south, some 4 hours away. Once we reach the city of Ica, we will start our tour with a guided visit to the Vineyards of Pisco. At the bodegas, as they are locally known, we will do a nice walking tour exploring with a local guide the premises where this delicious Peruvian drink is made. Here we will learn more details about this popular drink, visiting the whole vineyard, including the tasting room where you can try the different types of spirit the locals produce. Later on, we will visit the Regional Museum of Ica, an interesting building that houses the remains of the ancient cultures that developed on the southern coast. We will see fine textiles from the Paracas people, wonderful pieces from the Nazca culture and great pictures of the Nazca Lines.We'll also human remains from the same cultures mentioned above, featuring deformed skulls, cranial surgery practiced on ancient Peruvians, beautiful head-dresses and well preserved mummies.  Afterwards we will drive southwest towards the Oasis of La Huacachina where our hotel is located. Free time for lunch.16:00 h. You will be picked up from your hotel by our local guide and afterwards we will start our dune buggy excursion to the desert of Huacachina. We will drive across the desert in a 4x4 buggy vehicle, and will make various stops along the way for pictures. The desert of Ica is the most beautiful in our country and offers stunning landscapes, not only of sand dunes, but also of the Huacachina lagoon, from above. There will be some points where you will have the opportunity to experience the exhilaration of one of most popular sports in Ica “Sandboarding”. Our driver will take you to the summit of some dunes, and from the very top you will be able to slide down. Before you start to sand surf, our guide/instructor will teach you specific techniques to ensure a safety ride.  Finally we will return to the hotel in Huacachina.

Day 2
Pick Up Time from hotel in Huacachina: 8am
We collect from your hotel in Huacachina and start our journey to the city of Nazca. The trip to Nazca lasts 2 hours. On the way we will stop at the zone of Llipata, where there are various geoglyphs or Palpa Lines drawings. In this area you will see a group of human figures etched on a hillside from the top of a metallic tower. Later on we will continue and will arrive at the Ingenio Valley, where it the Maria Reiche Museum is located, an interesting place where we will learn about the life of Maria Reiche, a German lady who dedicated over 50 years of her life to protect and study the Nazca Lines.  After visiting the museum we will continue our tour at the Mirador or Tower, from where it is possible to clearly observe two of the Nazca Lines, The Hand and the Tree. The hands figure or geoglyph, as they are also called by archaeologists is located on the left side of the tower. Upon your arrival in Nazca you will be taken to the Maria Reiche airport where you will take your flight over the Nazca Lines. This aerial tour is done with a small Cessna airplane, which hs a capacity for 5 people, each person with a window seat. We will fly over an enigmatic zone, where hundreds of years ago ancient Peruvians drew huge designs, which can be seen only from the air. Among the figures we will see an enormous representation of a monkey, a hummingbird, a condor, and a strange creature known as the Spaceman. After the flight we will take you to a local restaurant where you can have lunch. (Lunch is not included). Finally we will return to the city of Ica. Overnight at the hotel in Huacachina.

Day 3
Pick Up Time from hotel in Huacachina: 6.30am
You will be met by our driver/representative at your hotel and then we will drive for about 1 hour till the Paracas Bay. At the Paracas Bay we will be met by our local guide who will lead us to the port where we will board a speed boat to visit the Ballestas Islands. During our boat excursion to the Islands you will see many attractions, among them, stands out a huge design etched on the slope of hill, known by the local people as The Candelabra. This is an enormous figure that can be seen clearly from the sea. Our local guide will explain the most important theories concerning this drawing. Afterwards, we will continue our excursion around the Ballestas Islands, where you will see hundreds of birds flying (Peruvian Bobbies, Inca terms, Pelicans, Cormorants and others) above the Islands, as well as dozens of sea lions on the shore of the beaches, and if you are lucky you also can see the famous Humboldt Penguins and dolphins swimming nearby. It is not allowed to land on the Island, which means you will spend all the tour on the boat. After our visit to the islands, we will visit the Paracas Peninsula by land. During our excursion to the Paracas Reserve, we will drive across a yellowish desert, following a dirt road till the cliff where once stood the gorgeous natural rock formation known as the Cathedral. (Unfortunately this great rock formation was destroyed with a strong earthquake in 2007). The scenery around is still very beautiful and clients can walk along the edge of the ocean and take photos. Finally we will take you to the little village of Lagunillas for lunch. Here there are various restaurants overlooking the ocean that serve mainly fresh fish in their menus. Finally you will be transferred to the bus station to take the bus to Lima. Upon your arrival in Lima you will be met by our representative and then transferred to your hotel.
